Advanced Movements
Blocking
Blocking allows you to ignore all melee attacks and ranged projectiles such as kunais. Even jutsus can be blocked. However, your guard will lower itself after a period of time. Your blocking power depends on the character your using also. (Ex. Gaara's Sand Deffense gives him additonal deffensive power).
Kekkei Genkai
In addition to your jutsus you can also activate your Kekkei Genkai or Bloodline limit (Sharingan, Bayukugan, Renningan, etc.). To activate your Kekkei Genkai:
CHAKRA KEY + BLOCK KEY (DOWN + B, S + C)
What the Kekkei Genkai does is grant for a limited time, speed and power to your character. In adventure mode, Kekkai Genkai can be used to see hidden items.
Subsitution jutsu
Pressing the block button the moment you are hit allows you to perform a Substitution Jutsu. This allows you to teleport behind your opponent and get the jump on him.
B-Cancel
Inspired by GNT4, B-Cancel basiclly allows you to stop your attack animation and start up a new combo again. How does this help? Well, you can link moves together and pull off great chain combos! To B-Cancel, Press the BLOCK KEY as soon as you attack. This will put you back in your orginal animation (standing).
Teleporting
To teleport, simply tap quickly the left or right key. This is excellent for escaping enemy attacks. |
